The Administrative and Financial Vice Rectory of the University is responsible for administering, directing and managing the strategic processes at the University of San Buenaventura Cali, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the established processes, regulations and institutional provisions in reference to financial resources, through the units of:

• Human Talent
• Financial Management
• Information Technology
• Marketing and Communications
• Physical Resources
• Purchasing and Supplies
• Strategic Revenue Management

In this way, it supports the development of the substantive functions of teaching, research, social projection and institutional welfare.

Functions of the Administrative and Financial Vice Rector’s Office

• To ensure compliance with institutional policies regarding administrative and financial management.
• Manage, under the administrative, financial and accounting guidelines of the University, the processes of administration of human talent, technology and physical resources that allow the fulfillment of the substantive functions of the University.
• Advise on decision making for the investment of cash surpluses in a profitable and safe manner.
• Submit periodic reports on the results of administrative, financial and accounting management.
• Coordinate the preparation and annual execution of the sectional budget.
• Lead, coordinate and evaluate the management of those responsible for the administrative and financial organizational structures of the University.
• To guarantee the operation of an information system that allows institutional decision making.
• Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines for institutional quality assurance.
• Permanently evaluate the impact and efficiency of administrative and financial management and the availability of the physical and technological infrastructure necessary for the development of substantive functions.
• All other functions that correspond to him/her in accordance with the laws, statutes and general regulations of the Ministry of National Education, the University of San Buenaventura and resolutions of the sectional.
