Frequently Asked Questions

    • Online registration form
    • Receipt of payment of registration fees.
    • Photocopy of identity card
    • ICFES (Saber 11) state test results or letter of commitment and citation
    • Photocopy of high school diploma, high school transcript, or certificate (original) that the student is in grade 11.
    • 3×4 cm color photograph, on blue background.
    • Copy of the last bill for the domiciliary public services
    • EPS certificate.
  • It is the request for admission made by an applicant to continue his or her undergraduate studies, completed and approved in another institution of the Colombian Higher Education System or in duly recognized foreign universities.

    If admitted, the Dean will study the grades and contents of the subjects taken and passed that can be recognized. The recognition of subjects will be a maximum of 60% of the total number of courses or academic credits of the program of study. Please note that only one single payment will be made for the homologation study and homologations, if any.

    • Receipt of payment of the application fee for the homologation of subjects.
    • Photocopy of identity card.
    • Certificate of ICFES (Saber 11) state exams.
    • Photocopy of the high school diploma or the degree certificate.
    • Official transcripts of grades from home university
    • Documents of the analytical contents of the subjects taken.
    • Certificate of good conduct.
    • 3×4 cm color photograph, on blue background.
    • Copy of the last utility bill.
    • Current photocopy of the EPS.

     

    Paragraph 1. Only courses approved within the last five years may be approved. (Student Regulations – page 52)

  • This is the request made by the student from the University, directly to the Academic Registrar’s Office to rejoin the same program and with the current curriculum at the time of reinstatement and will not pay enrollment fees. Under 2 modalities:

     

    • Loss of tenure for academic reasons.
    • Voluntary severance

     

    Students who have been withdrawn for disciplinary reasons may not apply for reinstatement to the University.

    • Apply at the University’s Academic Registrar’s Office.
    • Photocopy of identity card
    • Receipt of payment of registration fees. (Refunds are free of registration fees)
    • 3×4 cm color photograph, blue background.

     

    Note: If any of these documents are incomplete, outdated or have been withdrawn from the University, please attach them to the registration requirements.

     

    • Photocopy of high school diploma or degree certificate
    • Copy of the last bill for the domiciliary public services
    • Current photocopy of the EPS.
  • Foreigners and national students who have done studies abroad, equivalent to those of the Colombian high school degree or undergraduate degree, must request the validation of studies before the Ministry of National Education, in addition to the documents mentioned above, they must submit:

     

    • The copy of the Degree Certificate or Diploma, which must have the apostille stamp placed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the entity in charge of this procedure (Hague Convention) in the country of origin; or in its absence for countries that do not belong to the Hague Convention, authenticated or stamped by the Colombian Consul in the country of origin, and countersigned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia.
    • Resolution of approval of studies granted by the Ministry of National Education (validation of the diploma).
    • Result of the state exam presented by the applicant in the country where he/she completed his/her secondary education, with apostille stamp placed in the country of origin. It must be verified in the list authorized by the Colombian Institute for the Promotion of Higher Education (ICFES), in case it is not authorized, it must be validated before this organization.

    Important Information:

    • The Universidad de San Buenaventura reserves the right to verify the veracity of the documentation that you attach (results of the ICFES Saber 11 state tests and certifications of studies). In case of finding adulterated results, we will proceed in accordance with the applicable legal norms.
    • If after being admitted you do not wish to enroll in the University, the documents presented for your enrollment must be reclaimed at the Academic Registrar’s Office, up to one month after the beginning of classes.
